Golems, upgrade costs and duration, and how to use them
In the Pokémon manga, Golem is a rock/earth Pokémon that resembles a turtle.
However, in Clash of Clans online gameplay, Golem Ground troops from level 4 dark barracks with a large body covered in hard rock and high health of 4,500 hitpoints at level 1.
Golems work like giants, with large bodies and blood.
The golem’s main goal is to destroy the enemy’s closest defenses.
As such, it’s very good at deflecting an opponent’s defense. Players can then attack from behind. The opponent’s defense concentrates on attacking the golem.
Golem level 1 can be crafted in the Dark Barracks at Town Hall (TH) level 8 and above. 450 dark elixirs, 30 housing spaces in the army camp, takes 45 minutes to craft.
This troop is powerful enough to withstand defensive attacks, as it has a large amount of blood that makes it highly suitable for defensive attacks.
How to use golem cock
Relying on golems is not enough to destroy enemy defenses.
It has a large body, but its walking is slow and its attack power is not that great. For this reason, joint forces are needed. Apart from that, the army camp space also needs a large slot with 30 slots.
For war, just a couple of golems is enough. In total he has 3×30 = 90 army camp slots, the rest he can use other units such as PEKKA and witches. TH 9 often uses the GOWIPEK strategy.
Bringing some spells such as wrath spells and heals can be very helpful, especially with golems in performing attacks during war.
To aid the attack, a wall breaker, intended to break defensive walls, can be used to allow the golem to enter the opponent’s defense. This is simultaneously backed up by other forces such as PEKKA and Wicth and others.
Keep an eye out for the Inferno and xBow, defensive weapons that can quickly drain a golem’s health.
Before the golem dies, it splits into two parts and spreads out into a smaller shape, pinning the target to the defender. Golems should only be used for warfare, considering the extremely high cost required to craft them using the hard-to-find Dark Elixir.
Upgrade cost and duration
Golems can be created up to level 5, where the golem’s body evolves to purple and has what looks like purple crystals on its shoulders.
Required damage strength, hitpoints, and upgrade cost are also increased.
