How to Copy Paste Files Through CMD

Copy paste files via cmd? Yes, the admin always uses this method when Windows doesn’t want to enter the desktop because of damage to system files, so to copy files on local disk C (System), the admin uses CMD to copy it after finishing copying then the admin starts reinstalling the computer. Then how do you copy files via this cmd?

Steps:

1. Enter “System Repair/System Recovery”, using the Windows installer/bootable according to the Windows you are using
2. After entering “System Repair/Recovery”, select “Command Prompt/CMD”

(System Repair/Recovery Win 10)

3. In CMD, type “Notepad” then “Enter”, then the “Notepad” program window will open

4. Click on “File” then “Open”, then change to “All files” so that all files are visible and easier to find

5. Find the file you want to copy, then right click select “Copy”, and put it where you want, then right click “Paste”

6. Done, that’s how to copy files via CMD, if you have finished copying important files, just close the CMD

Notes:

There is no effect/impact for files copied in this way, the Admin himself has used this method many times when Windows cannot enter the desktop and needs to be reinstalled
