How to Enter Safemode in Windows 7/8/10
Safemode is a feature provided by Windows to perform an action into the core of the system without the need for admin rights. To enter safemode, there are several motherboards that can immediately enter safemode without entering Windows first, namely by pressing the button that was notified when turning on the laptop (F8), but for motherboards that don’t have this feature, you have to enter Windows first. then safemode can be run.
There are 2 ways you can do it to enter safemode, actually there are 5 ways, but because the other 3 don’t really support all types of PCs/Laptops, they’re not discussed.
Method 1 Applies to Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10:
1. Press on the keyboard “Windows Key + R”, until the “Run” dialog box appears
2. Type “msconfig”, then “Ok”
3. Go to the “Boot” tab, then check “Safe boot”
4. If it has been checked, then click “Ok” and restart your PC/Laptop
5. Done, it will automatically enter Safemode
6. To exit safemode, press “Windows Key + R” again, then type “msconfig”
7. Go to the “Boot” tab, then remove the check mark on “Safe boot”
8. Click “Ok” then restart your PC/Laptop
Method 2 applies to Windows 10, for Windows 8/8.1 you can try:
1. Enter “System Recovery”, how to read HERE
2. After entering “System Recovery” select “Troubleshoot” then “Advanced options”, then click on “Startup Settings”
3. A message will appear as below, then click “Restart”
4. After restarting your PC/Laptop, several options will appear from number 1 – 9, to enter safemode press the number “4” on the keyboard
5. Done, now it’s entered safemode
6. To get out of safemode, just restart your PC/Laptop

- Using CMD (Almost the same as the 2nd way)
- Using Windows Disc (Almost the same as method 2)
- Pressing on the keyboard F8 (Only applies to old Mobo)
