How to Install Windows 10 Using a Complete Flashdisk + Image (rufus)

I have written in full, as clearly as possible. (without having to use the help of a CD / DVD)

Kumparantekno – It doesn’t feel complete if this technology-themed blog contains no articles on how to install a new operating system (Windows 10) to a computer/laptop device.

Therefore, on this occasion I decided to make an article which can be said to have been quite a bit scattered on other blogs, which is the easiest way to install Windows 10.

Don’t have Windows 10 files yet?

If you don’t have Windows 10 files yet, you can download them directly from Microsoft’s official website. The trick is to use a software called “MediaCreationTools”.

You can go to the Microsoft website at the link below to get MediaCreationTools. (Directly from the Microsoft website)

Download the software (MediaCreationTools), then use the software to carry out the process of “downloading Windows 10 in ISO format”.

What you should prepare…

I assume you have finished downloading the Windows 10 ISO file. So next, there are some tools & materials that you also have to prepare first.

The tools and materials are:

  • PC or Laptop device.
  • Flashdisk 4GB/8GB or more.
  • Mental preparation & prayer.

Simply prepare the three things above, then you are ready to carry out the installation process Windows 10.

Making Windows bootable…

The very first stage before you install Windows 10, is to make the flash drive that you prepared earlier become “BootableWindows 10.

The process of making a Bootable Flashdisk that I did this time used the help of an application called “Rufus”. Please download the application directly on the Rufus official website.

Already have the Rufus app? Continue, Follow the steps for making a bootable flashdisk (Windows 10) as shown below.

Steps for making a bootable flashdisk using rufus

Explanation :

1. First: find the ISO file of the Rufus application

Open the Rufus application, then click the marked button number 1 to locate the file Windows 10 ISOs that you downloaded earlier.

Continue to stage 2…

2. Second: mark the Win 10 ISO file that was downloaded earlier

If you have found the file Windows 10 ISOsthen select the file (mark), followed by clicking “open” at the bottom right.

3. Third: simple settings (MBR partition, type NTFS, default 4096)

Don’t forget to setpresets” which is in the Rufus application settings according to the picture, after that click the “Start”. (doesn’t have to be the same, can be customized)

Wait for the process to run until it’s finished, until complete

To make it clearer, you can also watch the video for making a bootable flash drive using Rufus below. (hope this is clearer)

Have you watched it?

Okay, continue to the process (steps) to install Windows 10…

Steps to install Windows 10…

I hope you have carried out the process of making the Windows 10 bootable correctly.

If you have made a bootable flashdisk 100% correct (according to the procedure), then of course the install process will most likely run smoothly without any significant error problems.

Prepare yourself to take the next step in installing Windows 10.

So, please pay close attention to each step that I have written below.

1. Turn off the PC/Laptop, then enter the BIOS

First turn off the PC/Laptop that you will install Windows 10 on, then enter the mode BIOS.

To do this, press the Power button on your PC/Laptop, then when the brand logo appears, immediately press the F2/Del button repeatedly until it enters the display. BIOS.

You need to know, that the appearance of the BIOS is usually different for certain types of brands. So, it’s just a matter of adjusting because the essence of the display is almost the same as the others.

If you have done all of my explanations above correctly, then surely you can arrive at a stage like the one shown in the image below.

If the file copy process is 100% complete, then your PC/Laptop will automatically do “restart”.

Very important!

Immediately unplug your bootable flash drive when your PC/Laptop automatically performs “restart”. (immediately remove the flashdisk when the PC / Laptop restarts)

The purpose of removing the bootable flash disk is so that your PC/Laptop doesn’t do “Reboot” to Windows Setup. This is because you have done the Windows Setup process in the early stages.

You understand what that means, right?

10. Will automatically turn on again (restart)

After restarting, of course your PC / Laptop will automatically turn on again. And also make sure you see this display when your PC/Laptop is on.

Automatically PC / Laptop will turn on again (restart)

11. Been waiting, the install process is “almost” complete

The install process is almost complete!

If you have seen this display, the Windows 10 installation process can actually be said “almost” finished. You only need to fill in personal data such as username, password, etc.

For “Product Key”, you can skip to pass it.

12. Select “Customize”

You can choose to use “Cuztomize” or “Use Express Setting”

Actually, if you choose “Use Express Settings”, then the process of filling in the data will be relatively faster. However, at this stage I suggest you to choose “Customize” just.

The goal is that you, as a Windows user, can be more flexible in managing all existing settings, and can limit the behavior of the Windows 10 operating system so that it doesn’t “inconsequentialin carrying out a task.

If you don’t understand point number 12, I suggest you read the 2 articles I’ve posted below.

If you have encountered a view like this, then congrats! Windows 10 you have 100% installed.

Completed 100%

Augustbe, some of you are not so “clear” with the 20 steps that I wrote above. Therefore, to be complete and clearer, please watch the video How to install Windows 10 below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH52m2cn_g4

I have tried to make this tutorial as clear as possible for you to understand.

Now the question is, is it really clear???

Just comment below, I’ll help answer later…

Addition…

After carrying out the re-install process above, all applications that you previously installed will be LOST. (everything returns to the default application)

Therefore, immediately install mandatory applications that must be there after reinstalling Windows 10. I have written everything in this article: 13 Mandatory Applications After Reinstalling Windows OS!

Notes…

I have done the step by step installation of Windows 10 above myself using a laptop Samsung ATIV Book 2And BOOM!

The install process went smoothly without any problems. Although, actually I don’t really like Windows 10. (apparently, Windows 10 is a waste of quota)

So, what are you waiting for, now it’s your turn to try it.

Important!

Before carrying out the install steps above, make sure that you have secured all personal data. The personal data, generally located in a folder Downloads, Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos & Desktops.

I, as admin, am not responsible for any risks of losing personal data on your PC/Laptop. Do it according to the procedure, then everything will be safe under control.
