How to Reduce Video Size With Software
Are you a youtuber? Of course you like uploading videos, so the uploaded videos are definitely not small in size, depending on the duration of the video. Now, with this software you can reduce the size to a few percent smaller than before without reducing the video quality or removing the effects on the video.
The software is Handbrake, this software is able to reduce the video size without changing the video content, and the size of this software is relatively small.
Download HandBrake for Windows 7 to 10 :
Download HandBrake for Mac OS X 10.7 to 10.12 :
1. Download and install HandBrake, if you have run Handbrake
2. The “Source Selection” tab will appear, just select “File”
3. Select the video that you want to reduce in size, for example this SAO anime video, then select “Open”, and Handbrake will start scanning your video, if the size is large it will take a few minutes.
4. Determine the resolution of your video, for example SAO 480p then you can choose “Fast 480p30”, or you can also choose another resolution such as “Fast 720p30, SuperHQ 480p30 Surround, and others”
5. After that check “Web Optimized”, then select “Browse”
6. Specify the location of the video that will be reduced in size, and also give the video a new name/title. You can also use the old video name/title from a different storage location.
7. If everything has been done, the last thing is to select “Start Encode”, wait for the video to finish “Encode”, the fast time depends on its size.
8. When finished, you can see the difference in size.
