  5. Wait for a few moments.
  6. If the words Currently on Another Call appear in the call status, it means that your friend is on another call and making a call with someone else.

However, there are important things that you must pay attention to in the method above. After updating, it turns out that WhatsApp has deleted the call status when the contact you want to call is on another call.   3. Make sure the friend you want to talk to is online, by looking at their contact status.
  4. If so, make a call by tapping the menu that has been selected as in point number two previously.
  5. Wait for a few moments.
  6. When the status “Calling” appears instead of “Ringing” while the contact status is Online, it is certain that the number you are calling is on another call.
