Here are the steps on how to remove Google Smart Lock via Android cellphone settings:

  1. Open the app Arrangement on your cellphone.
  2. Select the “Security” menu.
  3. Click “Advanced settings“.
  4. Then select “Smart Lock“.
  5. Enter PIN, Pattern and Password.
  6. Click “On-Body Detection“.
  7. Then disable Use Detection on Body.
  8. A list of devices that have been connected will appear, delete all devices in Trusted Devices.
  9. Finished.

2. In Google Chrome Browser

In the Google Chrome application there is also Google Smart Lock which can save passwords when you log in to social media such as Facebook and Instagram. To delete it, please follow the steps below.

  1. Open the app Google Chrome.
  2. Tap the three dot icon in the top right corner,
  3. Select option “Password“.
  4. Wait a few moments until the two options “Offer to save password and Automatically log in” appear.

How to Remove Google Smart Lock Instagram

The first way you can remove Google Smart Lock Instagram is through Google Settings on your Android cellphone.

Just follow the steps below:

  1. Open Arrangement on your cellphone.
  2. Select menu “Google“.
  3. Scroll down until you find “Smart Lock for Passwords“.
  4. Tap menu “Manage your Google Account“.
  5. Then open the tab “Security“.
  6. Scroll down and select “Signing into other sites“.
  7. Tap option “Password Manager“.
  8. Choose “Instagram“.
  9. Use PIN, password or fingerprint scan sensor.
  10. Then select the “buttonDelete“.

Remove Google Smart Lock Instagram via Google Web

Apart from cellphone settings, you can also delete or deactivate Google Smart Lock Instagram via the Google website, there you can manage passwords and use Google Smart Lock.

  2. Visit the following page https://passwords.google.com/.
