Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Update Details Revealed

Infinity Ward will be releasing the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update today. The development team has detailed this update by sharing the full changelog. From the list, we can see that this November 12 update comes with some weapon balance tweaks.

Update Call of Duty: Modern Warfare the November 12 patch brings various adjustments to the ammo reserve. This is done so that one weapon can be used in conjunction with other weapons in their class.

It should be noted that this update has more backend fixes to prevent crashes and improve stability across all modes and all platforms. It also increases the speed at which you can still hear footsteps with minimal movement.

General Repair

  • More backend fixes to prevent crashes and improve stability in all modes and all platforms

Riot Shield

  • Repair bugs where players using Riot Shield will not receive explosion damage.
  • The update also fixed an issue where Riot Shield would restrain players when using Stim.

Footsteps

  • Adapted to the sound of footsteps
  • Improve the sharpness of the sound, where you can still hear the sound of footsteps even if you just press the button slightly.

Challenge

  • General fix for asynchronous UI and Challenge states. We will continue to monitor and make additional improvements as needed in future updates
  • Fix for a possible challenge related error, DEV ERROR 5476

Weapon

  • ARs: Spread adjustment
  • 725: Reduce distance
  • M4: Reduces damage
  • FAL: Reduces recoil, increases ADS speed
  • EB-14: Increase ADS speed
  • Adjustment of ammunition reserves so that they can be used for other weapons in their class.

Other Updates

  • Tuning while playing TDM and Domination
  • Dominance flag adjustment; B Flag is now near the bus, not in the middle of the fountain

Special Repair

  • repair bugs where the player uses Overkill with an SMG as a secondary weapon, but appears without a primary weapon when joining an ongoing match.
