Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Player Sets a New Record!

Super Smash Bros Ultimate continues to break new records to become one of the most influential fighting games of all time. But this time, Justice “Ember” Jackson, a main player in Pichu, managed to beat the previous world record.

Ember managed to beat the previous world record held by Canadian Daniel Bergman by playing the game for 57 hours. Now the latest record has been held by Justice Ember Jackson with a total playing time of over 60 hours.

The rules of the challenge are simple but no less difficult. For every hour of play, he would get ten minutes of rest time. This downtime would pile up with every hour played so it was up to him how to use that time. Players can use the time at a time, or divided.

Giunness Will Send Representatives As Witness For New Record

If the rest time has been accumulated within a few hours, the player can use it to sleep. To get one hour of rest, players must play for 6 hours first.

Committee Guinness should send a representative to monitor that these records are properly recorded. Jackson said he applied for the record-breaking in April, and was approved in September.

To make the show even more interesting, Jackson decided to donate all proceeds from his channel to the Chesapeake Chapter of the NAACP. Kind of a big charity event, even big publishers are involved in this charity event.

Previous Record Only Lasted For 3 Years

Total time carved by Jackson reached 65 hours, for almost three full days of playing. The previous record was obtained by Daniel three years ago, namely in August 2022. If you examine again, it is safe to say that Jackson’s throne in this record will last for quite a long time.

Because, as is obvious, breaking the Guinness World Record is not easy and being successful in doing so is an achievement that few can achieve. For now, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available on Nintendo Switch.
