Control Won't Come to Xbox Game Pass!

Fans of the Remedy game are looking forward to picking up their newest game Control coming to Xbox Game Pass. Earlier during the holidays, Xbox boss Phil Spencer confirmed the game would be coming to the Game Pass subscription service.

This is certainly a surprise for all fans of the game. Behind the good news, a clarification appears that the news is not true, another surprise is here for fans of the Remedy game.

The Control development team made an official statement that news about Control that came to Game Pass is not correct. Via the official ControlRemedy Twitter account of publisher Control 505 Games, made the following statement:

“Information about Control coming to Xbox Game Pass as reported on a recent Mixer broadcast is false. We have no news or announcements regarding Xbox Game Pass at this time.”

The message certainly made many fans of Control very disappointed. The developer did not say anything about the possibility of the game coming to the subscription service.

Phil Spencer’s Statements Are False and Misinformed

This is clearly an unfavorable situation for all parties involved. Phil Spencer may be misinformed or misrepresented during an interview or simply wants to get the public’s attention. Remedy dan 505 Games just wanted to make sure that the game continued to be successful throughout the holiday season.

Xbox has always done a great job. This includes keeping the Xbox Game Pass confidential until its announcement. But until now there is no explanation about this one problem.

It’s possible that Xbox does have a partnership with the 505 and Remedy Entertainment to bring Control to Game Pass but cancel it because it leaked first or didn’t have. We’ll just have to wait and see how it goes, hopefully Control will be available on the subscription service in the future.
