The developer of this game, Ndemic Creations announced that they are also joining in to help fight the corona. The company will make a $250,000 donation to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Initiatives (CEPI).
In the announcements released, they tried to provide a global response to the lockdown that occurred in several countries. This donation can be said to be based on their players.
James Vaughan, creator of Plague Inc., was quoted in the announcement as saying, “Eight years ago, I never imagined the real world would resemble a Plague Inc. game. or that so many people will use it to help them get through a true pandemic.”
