Samurai Shodown Exclusive on Epic Games Store

As we know, Epic Games Store has its own way to compete with other digital game marketplaces. One of the most important is the exclusivity that makes their rivals such as Steam unable to release the game in their place.

Now, finally we know some of the latest list of exclusive EGS games for the Spring 2022 season. What games are they? Check out the full news below.

One of the most highlighted games this time is Samurai Shodown. Yep, this fighting game belonging to SNK Playmore has been confirmed to be released on PC via Epic Games. This game will be a prequel to their first game which was released in 1993.

Because it has just been announced, Samurai Shodown still has no definite release date for the release of the PC version. But since we’re already at the end of March, there’s a chance this game will come sooner. Meanwhile, Samurai Shodown has already been published on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

Full List of Epic Games Store Spring 2022 Exclusives

Well, for those of you who want to know about other games, you can check the list and a little description below.

  • Control: The Foundation (26 March) – This game is a development of the game Control and Remedy. Players will venture under the Older House to track down operations chief Helen Marshall, who went to “check something out” midway through the game and has been missing ever since.
  • Totally Reliable Delivery Service (1 April) – This slapstick sandbox game will make you a regular delivery man for packages to their owners. There is a multiplayer mode for up to four players.
  • Industries of Titan (14 April) – This game is a work of Brace Yourself Games, Industries of Titan is a sci-fi dystopian city builder wargame with FTL elements.
  • Dread Nautical (29 April) – This game is a turn-based tactical RPG set on a cruise ship that is attacked by supernatural monsters from another dimension. Manage your resources, recruit party members, battle through 20 decks.
  • Diabotical (June 1) – Free-to-play multiplayer arena FPS, where everyone is a robotic egg. So basically Twitter, with guns.
  • Saturnalia (Q4 2022) – You will play a character who can explore a desert island. You have to go through every winding road in order to survive.
  • Sludge Life (Spring 2022) – First person vandalism-and-photography simulator game from the makers of High Hell.
  • Among Trees – (Summer 2022) – Survive and thrive in a beautiful forest full of life. Unlike most survival games, this one isn’t post-apocalyptic or full of supernatural horrors. This game looks more real with orders to take care of yourself, build a nice house, avoid bears and moose.
