Facebook Acquires Cloud Gaming Service To Compete With Google Stadia?
Gamers, especially in Indonesia, must have played browser games provided by Facebook. Since the heyday of Farmville, Dragon City, and Stick Run, Facebook games have become very popular. Almost all people like the games provided by Facebook.
However, as we know that Facebook Gaming has lost players, only a few percent are still playing it, maybe they are just reminiscing, after that they never touched any of the games on Facebook Gaming.
Facebook Acquires PlayGiga, Competes With Google Stadia?

Facebook plans to bring back the golden age of its Game Browser by acquiring a Cloud Gaming service called PlayGiga, a startup based in Madrid, Spain.
The Facebook acquisition comes at a time when the Cloud Gaming market is growing thanks to the influx of several new big players. Just last month Google has launched its Stadia service, while Microsoft is still preparing to launch its own xCloud platform in 2022. Meanwhile, Sony already has its own cloud gaming service called PlayStation Now.
Compared to the giants above, PlayGiga is just a much smaller cloud gaming company, before it was acquired PlayGiga intended to expand and develop it.
Gaming Becomes New Focus For Facebook?

It seems that Facebook will increase its focus on gaming in recent years. In March, Facebook added the word “Gaming” to its navigation bar. Surely almost everyone knows the Facebook Gaming service which is similar to the Twich streaming service.
Facebook also has an interest in VR gaming with its acquisition of Oculus in 2022. Last month, Facebook also acquired Beat Studios, the developer of Beat Saber. Facebook claims that there are more than 700 million monthly users with Facebook gaming content.
