New Video Confirms Final Fantasy 7 Remake Is Coming!
Final Fantasy 7 Remake finally releases on April 10th. The Square Enix game that many fans have been waiting for is finally released after a long wait since 2022. Of course, the developer is currently only releasing the game exclusively for the PlayStation 4 platform.
Yes, of course that is good news for those who play PS4, what about other platforms? Previously we heard that FF7 Remake will be released on PC a year after the game was first released. Finally it was officially confirmed.
Sony Shares Thank You Video
Recently, Sony shared a new video for Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The video is their gratitude for fans who have been patient. This one-minute video shows Producer Yoshinori Kitase thanking the cast for the songs and visuals from Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
The trailer also shows an interesting gameplay. Maybe fans have seen it through trailers and promotions, but there is something new to be gained from this video.
If you look closely, at seconds 4 to 8, game lovers can see a headline that reads “Gameplay Captured on PC.” This is interesting because Final Fantasy 7 Remake was only released for the PlayStation 4 today. There’s no way Square Enix intentionally used PC footage in a video meant for a PlayStation release. In another sense, they have prepared the game for this PC version.
PC release on April 10, 2022

In addition, at the end of the video they also say that this game is available exclusively on PlayStation 4 “until 4/10/2022”. That way, we know that this exclusivity has a certain time limit. However, there is no official notification on which platforms will be targeted. This game could be released on Next-Gen platforms like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, or it could even work on Google Stadia.
