Playing Pokemon GO, this man even left when Italy was under lockdown

The COVID-19 or Corona virus has spread all over the world. One of the countries that experienced the most casualties besides China was Italy. Therefore, it has been several weeks since the government has imposed a lockdown or a ban on leaving the house and doing activities for its citizens.

There are interesting and worrying things happening in Italy. All residents are advised to stay at home and if they go out they will be judged by the police. However, there was a gamer who was wandering around San Fermo because he was playing an augmented reality game. What was he thinking?

Man Breaks Italian Lockdown Playing Pokemon Go

The 31-year-old man was playing Pokemon GO with his daughter when he was arrested by the police. According to reports from Italia Leggo, police asked the man what he was doing outside his house, as people are technically allowed to go outside if they have a good enough reason. The man replied, “I have to hunt Pokemon.”

The police decided that this was not a good enough reason for him to violate Italy’s coronavirus lockdown rules. He was eventually arrested along with 43,000 others who have been charged in Italy since the lockdown began on March 9.

Bad Impact for Pokemon GO

Coronavirus has had a bad impact on Pokemon GO since it became a global pandemic. Niantic has canceled the Pokemon GO Safari Zone and other events, they have brought a function that makes the game playable from home. Some of the added features are increasing the number of Pokemon that will appear in one place. In addition, PokeStops will drop more items, and sell insence at a discount.

Niantic is trying to make Pokemon GO playable for those who can’t leave their homes, but there are aspects of the game that aren’t accessible right now. For example, legendary Pokemon GO raids usually require large groups of people to join forces to take down very powerful Pokemon.

The CDC recommends people around the world to stay home and avoid large gatherings. That means it’s impossible for Pokemon GO players to carry out legendary raids while still following CDC guidelines.

Hopefully this epidemic will be resolved quickly and everything will return to normal. Take care of your health and do everything #StayHome. Dafunda Gamea will continue to share other interesting news so you won’t miss the latest updates.
