Professional Fortnite Player Banned For Life!
Jarvis Kaye, FaZe Clan member and player esports professional banned from Fortnite lifetime. Kaye’s permanent ban was confirmed live by her in an apology video she posted on YouTube. In the video, he explains why this happens.
As revealed in his apology video, Jarvis Kaye permanently banned from Fortnite for using an aimbot. Cheats which he uses is evident in the various videos he posts online.
Kaye did not use the aimbot on his main account and did not use it in professional matches at the time. Even so, Epic Games has decided to stick with its decision to ban Kaye from Fortnite for life.
In a statement to TMZ Sports, Epic Games explained,
“We have a zero tolerance policy for cheat users. When people use aimbots or other cheating technology to gain an unfair advantage, they’re ruining the game for people who play fair.”
Even if it’s just for fun, Jarvis Kaye remains banned from Fortnite for life
In her apology video, Kaye explains that she uses aimbots to create content she thinks will entertain her YouTube audience. He also said that he didn’t realize he could potentially be banned for life from Fortnite for making the video.
He also added that never use aimbots to cheat in competitive games. Kaye also said that this is the first time he has ever used an aimbot or cheated in a Fortnite game.
Kaye Sends Apology, And Hopes His Sentence To Be Combated
Kaye has apologized to Epic Games for using aimbot and he has asked the company to reconsider his sentence. However, Epic is unlikely to change its decision and continues to impose such a sentence.
This isn’t the first time that Epic Games has had to deal with people cheating on Fortnite. Earlier this year, the Fortnite World Cup winner was caught cheating in a tournament.
Hopefully this is a threat to other cheat users. Even if it’s just for fun, cheats are not a good thing. Using cheats is the same as destroying the game, it’s better to play as is. Fortnite was released for iOS, Android, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
