Resident Evil 4 Remake is Working on Capcom
Capcom has just released their newest game, Resident Evil 3 Remake, but the company still has a lot to do with this franchise. As we know, last year they released Resident Evil 2 Remake and only a year from now, there are many rumors that there will be Resident Evil 8 in 2022.
It doesn’t stop there, it seems that Capcom wants to bring back one of their popular games, Resident Evil 4. It seems that they are working on a remake and it is scheduled to be played by fans in 2022.

RE4 is a game that makes an impression on the hearts of PS2 lovers and is also one of the best-selling games from this franchise. Capcom recently released a survey asking about interest in the future Resident Evil continuation. That’s where two old game names that might be remade appear, namely Resident Evil 4 or Code Veronica.
Quoting from the well-known news site VGC, they have confirmed that RE4 Remake has entered full production for a schedule in 2022. Development itself will be led by M-Two which has been rumored since 2022. Capcom’s internal team and external studio will assist M-Two to develop this project.
Will Bring The Original Game Feel
Apart from working on the game, of course we are also curious about how this game will be made. Initially, the director of the RE4 game, Shinji Mikami was offered to work on this new game. However, he declined the offer and gave some sufficient input on how Resident Evil 4 Remake would be made.
Shinji advised Capcom to keep making this game follow the original nuance. It could be combined with mechanisms such as the game RE2 Remake or RE3 Remake.
Since launching on the market in 2005, Resident Evil 4 has indeed been re-released, ported to remastering. It’s just that, there hasn’t been a full remake given for this PS2 to PS4 platform game. This is also a good opportunity for Capcom to release their games on next-gen consoles, both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
