Resident Evil Resistance Open Beta Postponed

In addition to Resident Evil 3 Remake, Capcom is also working on another game that is still related to this franchise. Resident Evil Resistance, a survival game where you can play with up to 4 players in a team.

If you hear from the description of the gameplay, this game might be similar to Left 4 Dead or World War Z. So can we try to play this game? Check out the news below.

Open Beta Delayed

Indeed, we can already play the demo of the RE3 remake and at the same time, we should also be able to try the RE Resistance gameplay. But it looks like we’ve got some bad news as the official Resident Evil Resistance open beta has been delayed.

As we can see from the official Resident Evil Twitter account, they said, “Due to technical issues, there has been a delay for the RE Resistance Open Beta on PS4 and Steam. The XB1 version is unaffected and available. We are working to resolve the issue as soon as we can and will keep you updated. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

Still Don’t Know When It’s Finished

After the announcement was made, it is still unclear when this update will be completed. The open beta of Resident Evil Resistance has now been pulled from Steam and the PlayStation Store. Meanwhile, Xbox One users can still play this game with good network quality.

Producers of Project Resistance responded publicly to criticism of the series’ new direction when the spinoff was first announced, stating that “a lot of people really wanted a more quality experience from [Resident Evil]”. Capcom needs to “continue to develop and try to offer new games. So that it can enhance the experience that people expect.”

As for the release date, Resident Evil Resistance will launch together with Resident Evil 3 Remake on April 3. So, roughly we can play it within a week.
