The Latest DLC Control, Expedition Mode, Is Available
Control acclaimed as one of the best games of 2022. For the celebration, Remedy Entertainment shared the second major update to the game alongside Game Awards. In addition, Remedy shared additional information about the DLC Control which is planned to be released early this year.
Remedy first announced a new mode for the game called Expeditions last September. Expeditions is the second of four planned content updates, with the last two being premium DLC.
While it doesn’t have any new story content, Expeditions is designed to provide players with a number of challenges. Players who have completed the game can create rare unique mods.
Players Will Get Rewards If Successfully Complete Each Expedition
The game mode will bring Jesse (the protagonist of Control) to an alternate dimension connected to the Black Rock Quarry. When starting the game, the player must defeat the enemy first within a period of 25 minutes before starting the expedition.
Players who successfully complete each expedition will win a prize at the end. In addition to this information, Remedy also provides a bit of information about the premium DLC that will follow the last two free updates.
Developer Says It Will Bring Two Paid DLC Controls
Second DLC Control Those paid are Foundation and AWE. Foundation is a story exploring the history of an old house and will launch on March 26, 2022. Then AWE is a name that has caused a lot of speculation, suspected of having links with Alan Wake, the character Remedy from other games.
At the moment, Remedy only says that in AWE players will explore the Investigation Sector. Regardless of whether Alan Wake will play a role in the Control expansion, Remedy has assured players that the new content will be weird.
