Xbox Series X Becomes Microsoft's New Mainstay Console
If you are a gamer, of course you know about the Xbox console. Xbox is one of the toughest competitors from other well-known consoles such as Nintendo and Sony with the Playstation.
After previously being just rumors and internet gossip, now Microsoft has officially announced the latest generation of Xbox, which is called Xbox Series X, through a video trailer. The console will be released by Microsoft at the end of 2022.
As is known, Microsoft was previously working on a new console called Project Scarlett. However, this has not been disclosed in detail.
Xbox Series X
It turns out that the name of the new generation console from the Xbox family will be named Xbox Series X. The shape also retains the box design and black color belonging to this console family.
The news of the emergence of a new name from the Xbox generation was revealed at The Game awards 2022 which was broadcast live from the United States. In addition, at the event, Microsoft also shared a trailer for their latest console.
When viewed from the trailer, the Xbox Next Gen console looks like a PC CPU-like design, in the shape of a rectangular box, with sharp corner edges. Of course this is different from the typical Xbox design so far.
However, on the controller side, this console still adheres to a “typical” form like the Xbox One series but has been equipped with a touch of modern additional features.
Will Present Games With 4K Resolution
Phil Spencer as Xbox boss himself revealed that this Xbox Series console would be the fastest and strongest console in Xbox history. Microsoft also claims that its console will have the power to bring games to a 4K configuration with 60 frames per second.
Phil Spencer as Executive Vice-President of Gaming at Microsoft explained, Xbox Series X has new features on its controller.
Launching from the Verge, Phil spancer explained that “On the controller, the Xbox Series X has an improved shape and size and is equipped with a “share” button, to make it easier for users to take screenshots of the game”.
In addition, Microsoft also claims that the Xbox Next Gen is the most responsive console thanks to the Auto Low Latency Mode and Dynamic Latency Input technology that has been implemented on this console.
Games To Launch For Xbox Series X
Besides explaining about the advantages and disadvantages of their console. Microsoft has also announced two new games that will be launched on the console.
The two games are Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and Ninja Theory. It is known that the two games will launch simultaneously with the release of the Xbox Series X which falls in November 2022.
