Valorant Arrivals First Cheater In Closed Beta

If you follow the development of the game industry, of course you already know about the latest FPS game made by Riot Games, yes, this game is Valorant. Valorant is an FPS genre game being developed by Riot Games.

Valorant is predicted to be one of the best FPS games and a competitor to other FPS games. This is because the game, which is currently still in beta, is on the rise and is being played by many famous streamers such as Shroud to Tsm Myth.

However, there is the latest news from this game, even though this game has just entered its beta period, this game made by Riot Games has been entered by cheaters. Cheaters are always present like pests in every online game, even in new games that are still in the closed beta stage like Valorant.

Successfully Banned Valorant’s First Cheat

Valorant itself is currently in the closed beta stage where only a select few players can access the game. Unfortunately, one of the selected players did something not commendable by using cheats.

However, Riot Games chief programmer Paul Chamberlain admitted that until now they had banned the first cheater to appear in the game. This news was conveyed directly through a tweet on his Twitter account.

“Very disappointing, today we have to ban our first cheater (and it looks like there will be more tires),”

Paul said in his tweet

In addition, Paul hopes that they will start eradicating cheaters once the game is released. However, this seems to be additional work for those who don’t expect cheaters to arrive earlier.

Riot actually expects cheat users to appear once Valorant is officially released. But the cheaters came much faster than expected, Paul confirmed that they were ready to eradicate the pest.

Through Reddit, Paul introduced an anti-cheat system called Fog of War. Where they developed this anti-cheat to combat cheats such as wallhack. Of course Paul did not explain in detail about this, the article will help hackers to find loopholes.

In addition, to tighten up Riot Games also has AI aimbot detection, but it is only a tool to investigate cases of cheating or hacking in the game.

Riot also revealed that they have an automated system to collect data and investigate cheating cases which will later be considered for punishment.
