WHO Recommends Playing Video Games During COVID-19
I want to ask this. Most of you during this COVID-19 quarantine period, what activities do you usually do every day?
I’m sure many of you spend their time playing video games. Yes, very reasonable. Because this activity is arguably one of the most fun activities to do either alone or with friends/family at home.
But unfortunately, sometimes or even often, parents often feel uncomfortable when we spend more time playing video games. But what are you going to do? Because only these activities can get us through each day.
And if you are one of those who do. Well, go on! Because even the UN world health agency, World Health Organization (WHO), recently also suggested so.
Reasons WHO Suggest Playing Games During COVID-19

WOW GOKIL TOO! So what is the main basis for an organization like the WHO to provide such advice?
Wellwhen asked about this in an interview with USA Today, WHO General Director, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said that playing video games in today’s times has very good advantages for us.
Specifically, it not only helps us get through these times of confusion, but can also help us to continue to socialize. Socializing here of course refers to the ability to play video games alone with those at home or perhaps, together (party) by on line.
#PlayAPartTogether

Actually, the WHO call has technically been carried out by several top game companies such as: Activision Blizzard, Riot Games and Twitch through a call / initiative program: Play Apart Together.
This initiative was taken in order to make gamer they don’t feel bored so they can spend their time during this terrible pandemic as well as possible (read: don’t get dizzy because of boredom).
With these facts, it is once again clear that the stigma of playing video games is not as negative as it used to be.

In fact, nowadays, video games can actually allow us to skip boredom and even maintain our socialization skills with other players.
It might feel weird at first. But because it started to be done often, in the end everything felt very natural, normal, and indeed once again the right way in these times.
How about now? Have any of you really spent your quarantine time playing video games?
