Complete Specifications of Playstation 5 (PS5) Hardware
Sony has recently begun to reveal the successor to the PS4, namely the Playstation 5 (PS5) through an event that was held live streaming at the “The Future of Gaming” event.
There are two PS5 models on display by Sony, namely the regular PS5 verse and the digital version. The gaming experience on both consoles is actually the same. It’s just that the digital version is no longer equipped with an optical slot that is usually used to insert physical Blu-ray game discs. This means that those who buy the digital version of the PS5 will have to download the digital version of the game through the PS Store.
Apart from that, the PS5 specifications for the two models will most likely be exactly the same.
Hardware Specifications Playstation 5 (PS5)

When compared to the previous PS4 console, now the PS5 has improved specifications. One that is quite stealing the attention is in the storage section. Where the PS5 already uses an SSD (solid-state drive). By using an SSD, the game load speed will be faster than using an HDD (hard disk drive).
For those who don’t know what an SSD is, maybe you can see the explanation via the link below.
Lead System Architect of PlayStation 5, Mark Cerny even said that using an SSD, the PS5 only took 2.7 seconds to load a game.
For the PS5 SSD type, it has a costume and has a storage capacity of 825GB. If you feel it’s still not enough, you can expand it again by using an additional SSD.
If you look at the kitchen runway, this PS5 already uses 8 AMD Zen 2 processors with 3.5 GHz CPU inches. The RAM capacity of the PS5 itself is 16 GB (GDDR6/256-bit).
The PS5 graphics processing business already relies on an AMD GPU with the help of 36 Compute Units (CU) with a speed of 2.23 GHz and a computing power of 10.28 Terflops.
In addition, the PS4 supports a higher image resolution of 8K compared to the fastest PS4 at 4K.
Sony has yet to provide information about the price and launch date of the PS5. The Japanese company only confirmed that the console will be launched in the holidays at the end of 2022. Probably between November and December.
