Wales Interactive introduced Maid of Sker for the first time at the Future Games Show event. Wales Interactive is an independent developer and publisher based in the United Kingdom.
Previously, Wales Interactive had stolen the attention of gamers by releasing several unique games such as SIMULACRA and Late Shift. Maid of Sker itself seems to be very steeped in Welsh folklore about Elisabeth Williams.
According to the game developer, players will be treated to the story of the royal family filled with torture, slavery, and supernatural mysteries that haunt the royal land which is now a hotel. In addition, this game also has several endings according to the storyline chosen by the player when exploring the haunted hotel.

In terms of gameplay, this game is centered on sound-based game mechanics. Where if players make too many sounds, then they will be chased by ghosts wandering. This game is quite unique because all the enemies that roam the hotel grounds can’t see.
In addition, the Maid of Sker game mechanism is more unique because this game requires players to control the character’s breath flow so that it is not detected. With all this uniqueness, it seems that Maid of Sker will be a game that is very worth waiting for. This game is planned to be launched in July 2022.
