Cool Boys Play Arcade to Try VR, This is the Excitement of BEKRAF Game Prime 2022 Day 1

BEKRAF’s annual event around games, BEKRAF Game Prime 2022 was packed with visitors at Balai Kartini on July 14, 2022 (day 1).

From a boy playing retro arcade games (90’s), many visitors were enthusiastic to see the RRQ vs Evos match in the Mobile Legends competition, to visitors who took part in trying the latest 21st century technology, namely VR.

On the first day, thousands of visitors had packed the venue at 11 a.m. local time.

The opening of the event was also attended by Mr. Triawan Munaf as the head of the Indonesian Creative Economy Agency (BEKRAF).

The biggest excitement at the venue occurred and was concentrated in the Mobile Legends competition where the Evos bracket against RRQ was won by RRQ.

In addition, at this event, there are hundreds of players in the Indonesian game industry such as Agate International, which is the most stable game studio in Indonesia and has penetrated the global market, as well as dozens of indie developers from Indonesia whose games are no less interesting than foreign games!

BEKRAF Game Prime 2022 was held for 2 days for the public, and 1 day for B2B at Midplaza last Friday (13 July 2022). The B2B event was also attended by more than hundreds of participants working in the Indonesian game industry, whether they are publishers, developers, or investors.

Mr. Triawan Munaf said that this event was held as the initial commitment of BEKRAF as the representative of the Indonesian government to continue to support the Indonesian game industry.

With an event like this, it is hoped that the Indonesian people will also support local games of international quality!
