Warframe Fortuna: The Profit Taker Now Available For Free For PC, Coming To Consoles

Developer Digital Extremes has released a new update for Warframe on PC. Profit Taker, the first major content update for the Warframe Fortuna expansion, is available to download now for free from Steam, and introduces new Warframes, missions, spider robots and more.

The Profit-Taker is a formidable foe, and in order to face him, players need to complete new missions to get the Archgun. This powerful weapon was previously only usable while in space, but players can now unlock their Warframes on foot.

In addition, Digital Extremes has introduced a new Warframe for the game: Baruuk. Described as a “pacifist by nature,” Baruuk is able to lull enemies and summon daggers that destroy enemy weapons.

Completing the update, Digital Extremes has added three new Echo-Lures, which players must use to save three new creatures. Doing so will reward them with new Floofs and a Conservation Badge. The developer also added new weapons, mods, and customization items, as well as new Amps and Arcanes Operators. You can read more about the update on the official Warframe website.

Fortuna: The Profit Taker is currently only available on PC, but Digital Extremes says an update will be arriving for PS4 and Xbox One “soon.” Meanwhile, the Fortuna expansion will be released for the Nintendo Switch in 2022.
