Next month, Marvel will start working on Blade Film
Starting next month, Marvel Studios will officially begin the production stage for its newest film, Blade. This news was also welcomed by fans who couldn’t wait for the action of Eric Cross Brooks in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Blade aka Eric Cross Brooks is a fictional character who first appeared in Marvel Comics, in the comic The Tomb of Dracula #10 (July 1973). The character created by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan is told that he was born with a mission to become the perfect vampire hunter.
Now, his interesting story will be adapted by Marvel Studios to the big screen in the hope of surpassing the success of the film Blade (1998) which at that time had not yet entered the MCU universe.

While conducting an interview session with Fandango, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige expressed his long-standing desire to enter the world of Blade which is notorious for its darkness. He also revealed that the film will start working on July 4, 2022.

“We’ve been wanting to find a way into the world of Blade for years. We really love the characters and the world,” said Kevin Feige.
Furthermore, Kevin Feige also told a story when Mahershala Ali came to him to work together in the film Blade. It is known, the conversation between Marvel Studios and Mahershala Ali occurred after the actor received an Oscar for the second time.
Without thinking, Feige also agreed to work with Ali, in the Blade film project.
“He wanted to come and see us after he won his second Oscar. We spoke very politely and he said he was a Marvel fan before finally talking about Blade, and we immediately said yes.”
Until this article was released, it was not known for sure how the storyline would be used by this film to enter the MCU universe. However, one thing is for sure this film will enter phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Behind the scenes, Kevin Feige and Eric Carroll will be the producers of the film Blade, accompanied by Bassam Tariq who gets the task of directing. For the scriptwriter, Kevin Feige entrusted it to Stacy Osei-Kuffour. Besides Mahershala Ali, actors Delroy Lindo and Aaron Pierre will also act in this film.
