So innocent, Ms Marvel's casting invitation was thought to be Vellani's fake faith
The Ms Marvel casting invitation sent by Marvel Studios to Iman Vellani turned out to be considered a scam, you guys! Wow, that’s really stupid, hahaha.
Yep, Imam Vellani is a new actress who is on the rise, after successfully making her debut in the film industry through the latest series from Marvel Studios entitled Ms. Marvel.
Vellani also admitted that he did not know the steps that had to be taken to participate in the casting of the character, because he was very unfamiliar with the film world. Because of his layman, the casting invitation sent by Marvel to him was thought to be a fraud.
Iman Vellani Thinks Ms Marvel’s Casting Invitation Was A Scam
In a press conference held some time ago, the Pakistani-Canadian actress shared her experience when she received a casting invitation from Marvel Studios.

Since the invitation looked suspicious, he thought that the invitation sent to him was fake and just wanted to take advantage of it.
“I thought it was a scam. I didn’t know what casting was like, I sent a very academic resume, the only photo I have of myself, and they sent back the sides for self-tape.” said Iman Vellani, quoted from Variety.
However, after further investigation, Iman Vellani realized that the invitation really came from Marvel Studios. He was even surprised when he was asked to immediately fly to LA.
“I got a call. They’re like, ‘Do you have rep? I want to fly you to LA.’ Instead I replied, ‘I still have a math test, but okay.’ Then all of a sudden, I’m in LA with my dad. It was like the biggest trip of my life.”
“And yes, the Covid-19 pandemic strikes. They finally sent me an e-mail that said, ‘Get ready, you’re already in production. We just have to solve some problems in production’,” added Iman Vellani.
After a fairly long process, finally Iman Vellani was officially lined up by Marvel Studios and Disney to play the character of Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, a teenager who has super powers thanks to a bracelet he found in his warehouse.
