Accurate and complete difference between ISO and CSO in PPSSPP

Well, PSP and PPSSPP players are familiar with this too. Its famous designation, i.e. a size smaller than ISO. It is true that CSO is smaller than ISO because CSO compresses ISO files.

In my opinion, there is only one downside to playing CSO with PPSSPP. That’s a slight drop in video and sound. But you can clearly see and hear it while playing. The advantage is definitely the small size.

You must have heard/read that CSO is very bad, but I reject that statement.When you compress CSO, you can choose the level you want, so it all depends on who compresses CSO To do. In my opinion, CSO compression level should not affect game performance and quality.

Especially for SD cards, it depends on the CSO decompression specs. Bad affects the performance of PPSSPP, such as less smooth playing. There are no bugs or errors in CSO as long as the person compressing does not change the data/files to ISO before compressing to CSO.

There are some games that don’t support CSO even though they already use PPSSPP. This is due to the manufacturer. CSOs are forced to force compress ISOs they want to compress.

Usually the people who create CSOs only delete video and music files.
