Tutorial on how to easily modify texture PPSSPP games on PC and Android

Hello and see you soon. This article covers tutorials for both platforms simultaneously, so it can get long.

Here I will show you how to easily mod texture PPSSPP games on PC and Android. You must have heard about Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact and the famous mod textures namely Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. So many people think this game is on the PSP/PPSSPP.

What is the mod texture feature?

This feature is actually called Texture Replacement, but is often referred to as Mod Texture. Texture replacement is a feature that allows you to edit textures, scalars, scales, and images obtained with PPSSPP.

In a moment, we’ll talk about how to change textures on PC/Windows first.

Tutorial for Mod Texture Game PPSSPP

computer

material:

  1. PPSSPP already has texture replacement functionality (latest version already available)
  2. Applications for editing photos and images such as Paint (default Windows), Paint SAI, Photoshop.
  3. Concentrate on doing each step below.

tutorial:

  1. Open the PPSSPP application and[開発者ツール]or[開発者ツール]Go to the section menu.[設定]or[設定]>[ツール]or[ツール]>[開発者ツール]or[開発者ツール]Go to. Then look for the Texture Replacement section.afterwards [新しいテクスチャを保存]put a check in.

  2. Then play a game that modifies textures. Then play until you find the texture you want to edit and exit the game.

Note: Game textures are automatically saved when the texture is displayed or displayed in a game. Before you edit textures, decide which textures to edit.

  3. Then enter Developer Tools or Developer Tools again. The method is the same as above. But the difference is Uncheck Save New Textures and check Replace Textures.

  4. Then edit the texture in PPSSPP folder > Memstick > PSP > TEXTURES > Your GAME ID > new. Can be edited in photo-editing applications such as Paint Windows and Photoshop.
For example, save Texture God of War.

Note: You can find the game ID in PPSSPP by right-clicking the game icon on the PPSSPP main display.

  5. After editing the textures you want, copy or copy the textures to the previous folder i.e. the game id folder. PPSSPP Folder > Memstick > PSP > Textures > Game ID. You can also save directly to the Game ID folder when editing.

Note: Do not rename the texture file as it will not change during playback.

  6. Then play the game. Changed the color of his Kratos eye rims like this, my trendy analogy hehehe.

  7. If you want to edit the texture again, just repeat the above steps.

After going through the tutorial for PC, the tutorial for Android is just as easy, so that’s it.

android

material:

  1. PPSSPP already has texture replacement functionality (latest version already available).
  2. PicSay or PicsArt application for editing textures.
  3. A file manager application for copying or copying textures to a specified folder. For example, ES file manager and ASUS File Manager (File Explorer)
  4. Concentrate on doing each step below.

Step:

  1. The way to configure PPSSPP is the same as for PC. in short,[設定]or[設定]>[ツール]or[ツール]>[開発者ツール]or[開発者ツール]Enter the.

  3. Then type Developer Tools or Developer Tools again. The method is the same as above. But the difference is Uncheck Save New Textures and check Replace Textures.

  4. Then edit the texture in PSP folder > TEXTURES > Your GAME ID > new. Can be edited in photo-editing applications such as Paint Windows and Photoshop.
For example, I save Texture God of War and edit it on a whim like this:

  5. Then press the check in the upper right corner to save. Then copy or copy the textures to your PSP folder > TEXTURES > Your GAME ID.

Note: Do not rename the texture file as it will not change during playback.
Note: You can find the game ID in PPSSPP by pressing and holding the game icon for a few seconds on the PPSSPP main display. The Game ID is located in brackets to the right of the game title. God of War Example: Chain of Olympus (NPUG80325)

  6. Then play the game. By changing the color of the rim of Kratos’s eyes, I used the trendy analogy from earlier.

  7. If that doesn’t work, try checking the texture file name outside the “new” folder or Game ID folder. For example, saving a Picsay changes its name to ID Game-picsay. Just remove the “-picsay” text.

That’s all. I hope you found this tutorial helpful.
