August 14, 2023 is the day that you are looking forward to gacha the characters Nilou and Albedo, especially for Nilou who is a new character and this is his first banner different from Albedo who has appeared twice before.
Of course they will not come alone because they will be present with a 4-star rate-up character, there will be no new 4-star characters because Candace has already appeared on the Cyno banner and Venti’s re-run.
Nilou himself is the newest 5-star character in Genshin Impact who has a Hydro element with a Sword weapon.

You can see for yourself, the three rate-up characters are Beidou, Xiangling and Barbara. The two characters on this banner are very good characters for you to have or get their constellation. Although for new players, of course Xiangling and Beidou might already be owned because they have been around since Genshin Impact was released.
Only Barbara might be too desirable considering she is a Hydro healer character which is less meta according to the number of players and content creators.
So, in conclusion, the Nilou banner is very good for gacha, especially if you want the newest 5-star character, Nilou. But of course you can skip the banner if you find you’re after another 5-star character to come.
