How to Play Left 4 Dead 2 Pirated Online Via LAN / Wi - Fi

This time I will share how to play left 4 dead 2 online via LAN cable.
Here I will provide 2 ways to play online, the following methods are quite long and quite complicated, if the reader has never done online LAN/Wi-Fi. comment column. Okay, I’ll start with this very long explanation and of course it tires my hands :v , but this is all so that those of you who play pirated L4D2 can play with your friends without having to buy on Steam.

Materials needed to start online LAN / Wi-Fi :

  1. Wi – Fi (Can be first media, indihome, etc. the important thing is that there is a LAN plug)
  2. LAN Cable (If you don’t know, click HERE for the picture)
  3. Two laptops or one computer one laptop or two – both computers

First step :

1) Plug in the LAN cable on laptop 1 and laptop 2 (Remember, plug the top and bottom LAN together so the LAN can only be used to connect 2 laptops)

2) Open “Control Panel” then open “Open Network And Sharing Center” then select “Change Adapter Setting”

3) Right click on “Ethernet or Device that you normally use for LAN” then select “Properties” then search for “Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)” then click “Properties”

4) Follow the following settings, Laptop 1 is the one who made the ROOM/HOST, Laptop 2 is a new comer to ROOM/JOIN

(For Those Who Want to Host Room)

(For Newcomers/People Who Join Room Host)

6) If you have clicked “Ok” then “Close” and “Close Control Panel”, and make sure both laptops are connected.

7) Open your L4D2 game and read the following carefully:

(For laptop 1 which is the HOST ROOM)

(For laptop 2 who wants to join room laptop 1)

8) Enjoy playing L4D2 online via LAN 😀 , for an explanation about online via wi – fi later I will come to the end of the second method 😛

Second Way:

1) Follow the “First” method from “Number 2 to 4”

2) For Laptop 1, open your pirated Left 4 Dead 2 folder :p , then look for “srcds.exe” and “double click”

3) Then a “Start Dedicated Server” will appear, contents like the picture, but for those who play using LAN, change “Network” to LAN, Max Player It’s up to you….

(For laptops 1)

4) If you have pressed “Start Server”, wait for the loading to finish, it will appear like this, indicating that the server/room has been created successfully, then open your L4D2

5) For laptop 1, you can wait in the game because now it’s laptop 2’s turn :p, for laptop 2 which is connected to LAN with laptop 1. Open your L4D2 and “Steam Group Server: 1” will appear, click then press “Join” then it will automatically connect with laptops 1

(For laptops 2)

6) For Online via Wi – Fi, I hope my estimate is not wrong (if wrong just ignore :p), Try changing image number 3, namely the “Network” column, change it to “Internet”, try for laptops 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and so on. Open L4D2, if when opening there is “Steam Group Server: 1” that means my prediction is correct, just click “Steam Group Server: 1” and play 2 to 4 more players (If “Internet”, “Steam Group Server: 1” is not detected, try changing LAN again)or you can type “connect ip address”, see picture number 4 which I gave directions, enter the ip address then it becomes “connect 169.254.79.161:27015” (You may not use “:27015” but if it doesn’t work, try using “:27015”) then “Enter”

Notes:

Online Via Wi – Fi, Wi – Fi must be in 1 network, for example the host connects to wifi first media, then laptops 2,3,4,5,6, etc. must connect using the host’s wifi first media (meaning 1 network for 2-4 laptops)
