Overcoming USB Ports That Suddenly Turn Off / Malfunctions
USB port suddenly unusable? From this problem several arguments can be drawn regarding the cause, firstly damage to the USB Port hardware itself, secondly failure/incompatibility of the installed usb driver (install) on the Laptop/PC, and the third is USB damage to Hardware (Flash, Mouse, Keyboard, etc.). Please note that the USB port is the place to plug in the USB on a Laptop/Computer, if it is clear now go to the solution to the problem.
Steps to Overcome Dead/Malfunctioning USB Ports:
1. First download and install Driver Booster: HERE
2. Then open Driver Booster then go to the “Tools” tab
3. Click on “Fix Device Error” then click on “Detect”
4. After that several USB Port drivers will appear having problems, click “Repair” and wait for the repair process to finish
5. If so, try your USB port again!
6. If after the scanning process no problems are found, then what is damaged is not the USB Port Driver, but indeed the USB Port is physically damaged and must be replaced
