Tips to Streamline PC/Laptop Performance When Playing Games
The more the game industry develops, the higher the specifications needed so that our PCs/Laptops can run these games. However, not everything depends on what hardware we use, sometimes operating systems, settings, software, etc. that are not classified as hardware are also one of the main things that must be considered so that our PC / Laptop does not experience a decrease in Framerate Per Second ( FPS) while playing games. Here are some tips you can try to improve the performance of your PC/Laptop.
1. Set Power Options
In general, our battery is set to Balanced mode so that it will cause lag/down performance when the laptop battery reaches a predetermined percentage and sometimes our laptop can increase its fps again when charging. Now for those of you who don’t want to experience down fps while playing games, you can change the setting to “High Performance”.
2. If you are an Nvidia GPU user, set the setting to Performance
First enter the NVIDIA Control Panel by right-clicking on the desktop, select the “Adjust image settings with preview” tab and set it to “Use my preference emphasizing: Performance” by dragging the button all the way to the left.
Next go to the “Manage 3D settings” tab, in “Global settings” scroll down until you find “Power management mode change to Prefer maximum performance” and “Texture filtering – Quality change to High performance”
Then just press Apply and close the NVIDIA Control Panel, while for Radeon users you can also try setting it up through the Global settings because the admin himself doesn’t memorize all the settings
3. Set the Windows 10 Graphics Settings
Enter Windows Settings, then select System, on the Display tab, scroll down until you find Graphics Settings. Click “Browse” and select the game that you want to increase the performance of, then if so, click on the game and select “Options” change to “High performance” then save
4. Turn Off Unused Features in Windows 10
You can turn off some Windows 10 features that you never use, such as Location, Background Apps, Cortana, and many more, the admin can’t mention all of them but the admin has tried turning off features that are never used through Windows Settings, there you are can set whatever you want to turn off the results that the admin gets, which originally the Fps only touched 40 – 50 can increase sharply to 60 – 70 Fps, yes it all depends on what settings you will turn off.
5. And Others – Others
