For Honor Next Season Will Launch Simultaneously On Xbox One, PS4, And PC
For Honor is heading into its seventh season sooner than you might expect. A seasonal update called Storm and Fury will launch simultaneously on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 2.
Storm and Fury will introduce a new map, several hero reworks, and a ranking system update. And for those of you who value fighting style, this season’s launch will also introduce a permanent 30 percent discount on all battle outfits.
This new map is called Secluded Keep. It used to be owned by the lord and is now a highly desired outpost. You will be able to play it in Tribute, Skirmish, Elimination, Brawl, and Duel. The two main heroes saw some changes based on the feedback. The Warden and Valkyrie are getting updates for increased versatility and efficiency.
As for the ranking system, there were some changes coming. The first are two new divisions for the most ferocious warriors: Masters and Grand Masters. In addition, there will also be a new leaderboard to track progress. Want to climb higher and higher in the ranks? With this update, you will be able to do rank duels outside of tournaments, and tournaments will now rotate every weekend.
Beyond this update in August, For Honor is in the headlines for another reason. On August 16th, you can pick up the full game for free with an Xbox Live Gold membership.
